Millennials vs. Gen Z: Two Generations, One Workforce in Non-Clinical Healthcare

Millennials, Millennials, Millennials (a.k.a. Gen Y)… that’s all we used to hear, but now there’s a new kid on the block—Gen Z. So who’s Gen Z? The oldest members were born in the mid to late 1990s, whereas Millennials were born from the early 1980s to the mid to late 1990s. Sure, some “Gen Zers” are still kids, but older members are young adults currently entering the workforce—and potentially already working at your company. So before they gradually take over the labor market, let’s get to know them a little bit. Let’s compare them to the more experienced Millennials, which currently make up nearly 40% of the workforce. This should get you on the right path to understanding them and benefitting from their unique traits.
