Resetting Normal: Defining the New Era of Work

As working remotely has become a part of the new normal, we’ve highlighted ways to achieve work-life balance during this transition. As workplace trends have shifted to a remote model, Employers have also had to adjust their strategies to find and retain top talent for the post-pandemic workforce.

As we work to discern the changing needs of the American workforce, the Adecco Group has compiled survey data from thousands of office workers on how the pandemic as reshaped their overall expectations towards work in this new era. The results revealed an emerging trend that is not surprising, with a clear gap between expectations and capabilities. In order for organizations to succeed, they must adapt and reevaluate their business.

In further research, the trends show that the world is ready for hybrid working and is a requirement for top talent. Workers want and need flexibility in how and when they work.
